Même si le Bomb Squad dans sa formation initiale n’a été crédité en tant que tel que sur une poignée de disques, le crew de producteurs composé de Carl Ryder (alias Chuck D), Hank Shocklee, Keith Shocklee et Eric « Vietnam » Sadler a considérablement marqué le hip-hop. Célèbres pour avoir produit le classique de Public Enemy « It Takes A Nation Of Million To Hold Us Back », souvent cité comme le meilleur album de rap de tous les temps, ils ont aussi contribué, collectivement et individuellement, à redéfinir la pop moderne. Entre les tubes comme « Know The Ledge » de Rakim et les titres plus méconnus de Robert S ou K 9 Posse, Bachir a sélectionné quelques-unes de leurs meilleures productions, réparties sur trois mixes, l’un sur Cd, le second en édition limitée à 100 exemplaires sur cassette, et le dernier sur digicarte, pour rendre hommage au légendaire crew de Hempstead, Long Island.
