Encore une triste nouvelle vient de tomber puisque nous venons d’apprendre la disparition de Chino XL à l’âge de 50 ans. Son 1er album Here To Save You All sorti en 1996 sur le label de Rick Rubin avait marqué les mecs de ma génération, notamment son single Kreep. Malgré une carrière en dent de scie il n’avait jamais lâché le micro et je vous recommande d’écouter ICI son album God’s Carpenter sorti en 2023 entièrement produit par Stu Bangas. Un autre soldat du Hip Hop vient de tomber. Blacastan vient de nous quitter, le MC de Hartford (Connecticut) était très actif dans l’underground depuis plusieurs années, il avait notamment sorti 2 albums avec le beatmaker Stu Bangas sous le nom de Watson & Holmes et faisait parti du crew Demigodz.
