Après un 1er volume de « The Art Of Diggin » de Lord Finesse, le label Slice Of Spice s’apprête à sortir un second volume toujours mixé par le « Funky Technician » mais cette fois-ci consacré au label de jazz Blue Note qu’il avait déjà compilé dans son « Diggin’On Blue » sorti au Japon en 2004. Le CD sortira le 27/01 mais vous pouvez déjà le précommander ici. J’espère voir arriver ça en import chez Gibert!
Comme pour le précédent volume une édition limitée « flexi-disc » 2 titres a été pressée, hélas c’est déjà « sold out »

Loudspeaker commence fort l’année 2012 : Tismé, vainqueur à deux reprises du Beatmaker Contest, vient nous présenter son projet Mimétisme sorti en décembre dernier. Projet instrumental de 11 titres réalisé de 2008 à 2011, dont certains issus des battles, il retrace son évolution dans le beatmaking et ses multiples facettes musicales. Nicobbl et Mehdi, journalistes du site l’abcdr du son seront également des nôtres ce mercredi. Nous reviendrons sur ce webzine incontournable, créé il y a 11 ans déjà, ainsi que sur l’histoire, l’éditorial et l’état d’esprit de cette rédaction à part. Enfin, The Worst sera dans les studios, suite aux deux mixtapes « The Worst 2011″ de cette fin d’année créées spécialement pour Loudspeaker. L’occasion de vous présenter ce DJ, et de terminer en musique la rétrospective 2011.

C’est ma bande-son depuis 2 ou 3 jours, parfait pour bosser la nuit. Je voulais donc vous faire profiter de ce mix soul réalisé par Fredfades que je ne connaissais pas. Apparemment ce Dj norvegien est un digger reconnu en matière de soul, breaks etc.. Toujours agréable d’écouter une sélection pointue, truffée de pépites inconnues. Pour les amateurs c’est à télécharger d’urgence! |
